Both Windows and  Linux users will be required to upgrade to a 64-bit system should they  wish to use the most up-to-date drivers available.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>What&#8217;s New:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Game Ready for Apex Legends, Division 2, and ARK<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The new Game Ready Driver provides optimal support for Apex Legends: Season 4, The Division 2 \u2013 Warlords of New York expansion, and ARK: Genesis Part 1.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Game Ready for Zombie Army: Dead War 4<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The new Game Ready Driver provides the latest performance optimizations, profiles, and bug fixes for Zombie Army: Dead War 4. In addition, this release also provides optimal support for Apex Legends Season 4 and Metro Exodus: Sam\u2019s Story.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Maximum Framerate<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the last Game Ready Driver, we introduced a new Maximum Frame rate Setting into the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.softlay.com\/downloads\/nvidia-control-panel\">NVIDIA Control Panel <\/a>which allowed gamers to set the max frame rate a 3D application or game can render. With the latest Game Ready Driver, we\u2019ve incorporated community feedback asking for the limits to be extended. As a result, frame rate limits can be as low as 20fps and can be raised as high as 1000fps.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Image Sharpening Improvements<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Leveraging gamer feedback over the last few months, we have been continually improving the new image sharpening feature. With this latest version, you have the ability to toggle GPU scaling independent of whether image sharpening is enabled or disabled.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Variable Rate Super Sampling<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We introduced a new VRSS feature, Variable Rate Super Sampling (VRSS) is a new technique to improve image quality in VR games which uses NVIDIA Variable Rate Shading (VRS) to dynamically apply up to 8x super sampling to the center of the VR display when GPU headroom is available.
