For the MSI AfterBurner we are creating a new function, a stress test which will be called Kombustor. This is standalone benchmark/stability test tool based on FurMark, but now with big and furry MSI logo. You can either run in separately, or link with Afterburner to read more detailed information during stress test.

After installing Kombustor, you can simply press the “K” button in Afterburner and instantly launch 3D stability test. Just that simple! You can also click the Kombustor icon on the desktop to launch GUI to customize your testing preference.

Moreover, you can enable Post FX (handles motion blur), as well as run an OpenGL 4 and PhysX benchmark test with music.

Installation and Use

Kombustor is a small application that can be downloaded and installed to your PC in seconds by simply following the on-screen instructions.

Be aware that during the benchmark and burn-in runs, components of your PC will be stressed. This is especially true for the GPU card, power delivery hardware, and motherboard. It is highly recommended stopping all unnecessary background processes while MSI Kombustor is working on delivering accurate results.
